OVERVIEW
Problem
LocalEyez is a machine learning application that helps users find tailored events and experiences near them. The biggest challenge users face are the social isolation due to urban culture, lack of time and organization for family outings, and friends being picky when going out in groups.
Audience
LocalEyez' customer base has users from ages 21 to 50 years old. A user's annual income ranges from $30,000 to $120,000 who live in large urban areas in the United States.
LocalEyez' user interests vary from food tours, bar crawls, trivia nights, hiking, festivals, block parties, art walks, sports, nightlife, concerts, board games, family friendly, and bowling.
Solution
The app simplifies the menu bar from 5 navigation tabs to 3 navigation tabs. This allows for any repetition of pages to be reduced simplifying the experience for users. T

Onboarding Process
The onboarding process created was a series of steps for the user to "customize" their profile before we incorporate machine learning. We allowed users to choose their preferred set of "eyez," color, and interests in order to build their profile.
Brand Development
For rebranding the logo, I decided to incorporate logo that is versatile to have a wide representation of users i.e. a pair of eyes with or without eyelash detail.
In deciding what the brands colors would be, I decided to create a base of 6 primary colors that a user can choose from. By doing so, it creates an additional layer of how the app is catered to the users wants and needs.
FINAL THOUGHTS
LocalEyez is a machine learning app not only to customize the events and activities catered to the user, but the app itself is customizable to the user. By taking it one step further to have the user self-identify their "eyez" and "color," it adds inclusivity and fun to mundane event apps.
